Shipping policy
SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF FORT MCMURRAY IS AVAILABLE BY OUR FLAT RATE SERVICE. SOME ITEMS ARE TOO LARGE OR HIGHLY BREAKABLE FOR US TO SHIP, SHOULD WE MISS ADDING ONE OF THESE TO OUR UN-SHIPPABLE PROFILE, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AND REFUNDED.
CUSTOMER SELECTS THE WRONG SHIPPING/DELIVERY PAYMENT:
Should you the end user select the wrong type of shipping, you'll have until we mark your order delivered to notify us. After we have mark the order delivered we can not make any changes and or refunds. (example, if you live in Fort McMurray but chose the flate rate shipping of $34.99 when normal local delivery is either free or $5.99. (Depending on what your order total is) you will have until we have delivered your order to notify us and we can make the appropriate changes and or refunds. Once we deliver and mark your order complete you are stuck with those charges. (You have been notified.)
CROSS COUNTRY SHIPPING CANCELATION: Once a shipping label is created you cannot cancel your order. Please refer to our returns policy which also states this.
PLACING MULTIPLE ORDERS BACK TO BACK : if placing multiple orders back to back, they must be placed within 1 hour apart for us to combine. Absolutely anything past the 1hr time-frame will result in double delivery fees (if they were charged to you)
Please note for orders within 1 hr of each other, we must not have marked your first order "out for delivery". If unsure please reach out to us to confirm. Failure to do so can result in multiple local delivery charges.
When Shipping outside of Fort McMurray occurs, We Colossal Toys Inc. will not be held responsible for any damages that occur in shipping. (Some Examples of such damages) freezing, melting, leaking and broken. This would need to be claimed with the courier.
Each item is fully inspected pre shipping. Should you have any issues please contact us with all of the information on the shipping label. You will have 7 days to make a claim. We will either provide you with contact details for the courier or contact them on your behalf. Please note we do not deliver/Ship to P.O Boxes.
In reference to Shipping or Delivery, Colossal Toys shall not be responsible for stolen or lost packages. Should your order go missing if outside Fort McMurray, please contact us for tracking details, from there you can contact the carrier. If in Fort McMurray, we are not held responsible for stolen or lost packages.
Colossal Toys shall not be held responsible for frozen or melted item(s).
In reference to Apartments or condos and or local businesses for delivery. We deliver on our time frame, not the customers. Delivery can be made anywhere between 6:00am to 6:00pm. We will do our best to give you a window of delivery but this cannot be guaranteed. Its always best to contact us for further information.
Colossal Toys will make one attempt to deliver your order, shall we fail to be able to deliver the order due to the instance someone is not home, (apartments or condos, business) we will refund the order minus any applicable delivery fees. If there are no delivery fees we will refund the order minus the $5.99 delivery fee for our time and attempt. Please note after a second occurrence you may be put on a refused customer list. Colossal Toys Inc. And all its entities has the right to refuse service to anyone or any business at anytime without notice.
Colossal Toys has the rights to cancel orders without reason. Such as orders containing the following but not limited to glassware, drinkware or kitchenware items. We do not ship Lava lamps, any orders that contain Lava lamps outside of Fort McMurray will be canceled.
Large, Oversized items in which we are unable to ship, (large dollhouses any gaming console, large Dart or gel guns and more)
Bulk orders :
All bulk orders placed for shipping across Canada above $400.00 are subject to further shipping fees. We will contact you in the instance your order exceeds this.
For deliveries to local businesses. Please keep in mind we unfortunately cannot wait around, if there is a wait time to deliver your order we will count that as a delivery attempt. We will reach out to you and advise you that we were there but no one was availableto take the order. Should we fail to be able to deliver due to this, please see above paragraph.
Close radius delivery
There are some customers that live close by such as neighbors, in the occurrence of a "blowout sale" or (clearance items) anything over and above 30% off. We do not refund the delivery fee. Please note this, it's been made known on social media as well. Thank you
As of March 22nd 2026 the below areas are the only streets that will be provided the "close quarters" discount.
